Iannis Xenakis' „linaia-agon" (1972) draws on Game Theory to portray in real-time a musical competition between Linos (trombone) and Apollo (horn and tuba). Using this piece as a point of departure, Zinc & Copper Works presents a series of pieces exploring games and game theory. Premieres by Juliana Hodkinson, Christopher Fox and Cassandra Miller are presented alongside pieces by Christian Wolff, Christoph Herndler, Mari and Robin Hayward.
